Arzucan “Zuzu” Askin
A National Geographic Explorer Rolex Scholar and Creative Director of Sunfish, Zuzu brings extensive expertise in leveraging creative design and communication to translate complex scientific research into captivating, accessible multimedia content. With over a decade of hands-on fieldwork across diverse ecosystems from the Arctic to the Equator and a wealth of experience working with multilateral organizations, Zuzu is passionate about using strategic communications to transform research into policy and drive impactful conservation action.

Nessim Stevenson and Karim Iliya
Between the two of them, the co-founding cousins of Kogia have a combined 20 years of documentary storytelling experience. From the frozen Russian arctic, to the bustling streets of Marrakesh, in dazzlingly blue waters in the South Pacific and in the warmth of cracking Icelandic lava - they have produced award-winning work across 60 countries for dozens of clients including large humanitarian and environmental development agencies, grassroots activist organizations and socially responsible brands. Their speciality lies in breaking down complex topics into nuanced, beautiful and impactful stories.
